We got snow this morning. It kind of washed away the blues this morning. It was great….cold though….We New Orleanians don’t drive so well in the snow either.

It Was A Good Day
I admit it…I gorged on Thanksgiving Day.  Potato salad, green salad, green beans, collard greens, and yams.  Delightful.  And who can forget dessert.

Remembering Odetta

Odetta touched my life 2 years ago when I opened for her at the Hilltown Folk Music Festival in 2006. She was precise, commanding, and sincere. She was the quintessential performer seasoned to perfection. I can only hope to one day get there.
